The ministry of Education of the Russian Federation created the Test of Russian as a Foreign Language, or TORFL, to assess a student's level of Russian, with requirements for higher education, employment, and citizenship tied to one's level of TORFL certification. Echo Eastern Europe Language Centers have a proven high pass rate for students that take the TORFL examinations.
