You may choose to stay at the Russian hosting family or Ukrainian hosting family during the period of your classes. That is the mostly often ordered type of placement. It allows the student to have a complete immersion in a real daily life of Russian or Ukrainian family. Here you can practice your Ukrainian or Russian language skills by talking with family members. Also it is very important that hosting family may always help you with routine question which you can face in a foreign city.
All families we choose are friendly and welcoming people who respect you as a guest. We work for many years with overwhelming majority of the host families and of course time was the best indicator of choosing the right places for our customers to live. On the other hand the guest should also follow some simple rules of normal behavior in a family.
Students are provided with laundry and towels, so do not need to bring them with you. A student has the separate room with possibility of using common kitchen with a refrigerator, shower, WC, etc. Some host families have 2 showers, but that is quite rare because Soviet style type of buildings usually have one shower in a flat. Most of families in Ukraine and In Russia have Internet connection at home, but not all. So if you need to use Internet also at home, please inform our administration well in advance, as well, as any other your personal demand concerning your comfortable living.
We provide our students with two options of hosting families destinations: with centraland non-central location. Most of the students prefer living in the hosting families in the city center to minimize time for the transportation to classes, but non-central locations – are for those who prefer budget-saving option.
